Dr.Gautam.Haldipur ARN NO :62999 Hubli, Karnataka, 26 Jul 2014

Good job FIFA!. Please apply gentle but relentless pressure on these issues, only then we may get results. If I might suggest, kindly obtain representations by each individual IFA to their respective state associations & in turn forward it through FIFA. More the merrier. At least as of now the present F.M. is a person who gives a listening ear. Lets hope for the best!

Navin Kumar ARN NO :83441 Patna, 25 Jul 2014

We should do all the things what ever we can do before the Finance Ministry, AMFI and SEBI from the forum like FIFA to protect the investor interest, survival of industry and distributors etc. Representation to FM was outstanding with very carefully chosen words. I do agree that " in unity is strength." Though we didnt get the desired result but we should do what ever we can in a systematic and unyielding manner.

pavan m shah ARN NO :8001 pandharpur , 25 Jul 2014

The suggestions is very useful for retail investor as well as distributor/IFA.

k sriram ARN NO :ARN 19262 sivasri chennai , 25 Jul 2014

sir the move is good problem not only tax problem is direct NAV different once we given the business to AMC the next business go to direct we are in this business in last 15 years this is the our income. that is the problem for us if any body take is issue to F.M. we that is good for the all IFAs

Anita Umashankar ARN NO :3313 Chennai, 25 Jul 2014

The ultimate aim of the Govt. is to bring back the retail money to Banks as Fixed Deposits. Hence, the proposed taxation may prevail. However, FM should consider extending the applicable date as retail investors are hit very badly.

Ravikumar ARN NO :4369 CHENNAI, 25 Jul 2014

Very useful suggestions, and recommendation all the best.

K S Viswanathan ARN NO :26181 New Panvel, 25 Jul 2014

Very valid and pertinent points have been brought out in the letter. It is the babus who draft the buget and seem to have blundered in the language. As pointed out in the letter I hope that the FM makes the necessary correction as requested in the letter. Also the other debt funds than the FMPs should be treated as before for taxation as in the letter.

g.somasundaram ARN NO :16932 nagercoil, 25 Jul 2014

very useful

Deepak R Khemani ARN NO :7707 mumbai, 25 Jul 2014

Well done FIFA, it shows that you are truly concerned and that these concerns have been brought to the notice of the Finance minister himself. I would request all active distributors to join FIFA and add strength to this pan India body which represents distributors and investors interest.

PADMA MAHADEVAN MBA ARN NO :ARN-21251 TRICHY, 25 Jul 2014

EXCELLENT FIFA......

samit kumar pal ARN NO :30213 baroda, 25 Jul 2014

I feel FIFA is concerned for HNI and Corporates. India has population of 130 crores. Please think seriously the reasons only Rs 175000cr of equity AUM. Your attitude shows small distributors should leave mutual fund Industry. Kindly find out why small investors are not investing in MUTUAL FUND and equity market.

P V S PADMANABHAIAH ARN NO :42200 PRODDATUR, 25 Jul 2014

Very good representation to the FINANCE MINISTER. As the percentage of retail investors is very small in Debt funds, the recent change in taxation should be applicable to only Corporate Investors and not to Retail Investors

Very well presented. Have we also sent a copy to AMFI and SEBI? Do we have statistics to show that non FMP non duration pdts also clubbed under debt have higher individual participation as compared to FMPs? If so we she present that also.

Sendhil Madhivathanan ARN NO :PenguWIN Chennai, 25 Jul 2014

Well articulated message to the FM and hope he listens to problems and effects a change to the original proposal in the final bill. Sincere thank to Mr Dhruv and other members of FIFA for pursuing this
