Dear Ashish and Team ICICI Pru, The ask for more, aloo paratha ideas are brilliant ideas but serves only entry/mid level IFA's whose client engagement time is more. Up the ladder lesser time is spent on these things and only simple,powerful & specific collaterals would be useful. Request you to involve senior IFA's also while devising a marketing collaterals. SIP best way to buy mutual fund units. One more good thing discussed by ashish ji that sip has to be need base not amount base. Why only sip of 1000???? It has to be goal based.

Good to see AMC thinking in this line...for this we need lot of training and motivational programme for the same...we are currently not having insurance in our debt product...as birla is offering the same ...can we expect something in this line and also invest....also we were told that icici amc is coming up with atm and sms facility for liquid investment...when can we expect the same...
No Doubt, ICICI Pru AMC has all product in their basket and provide the best opportunity to advisors for making selection of funds and proper diversification of investments. One more feature, MINI SIP of Rs 500/= may attract the small investor and also help in selection of multiple dates in each month i.e 500X4= 2000. thanks
Yes, I defenitely agree. ICICI Prudential Mutual fund has really been a torch bearer amongst the AMC's in India with innovative schemes and products. A recent one in point being the SIP Pause, which no other AMC has introduced so far.The Aloo Paratha story is very relevant and thought provoking.....Let us all remember, we are in a Knowledge based Industry where information,knowledge and gut feel matters !

There should not be any incentive for SIP(equity) tenor less than 05 yrs. and amt. less than Rs. 2000/-. Also pl. do not encourage "Pause SIP". Such concept can kill the industry. Just like LIC premium, there should not be any option. In the worst case, investor should be adivsed to withdraw from the same fund and keep the balance to honour his SIP committemnt. I understand this will not serve any purpose but telling about "pause SIP' may inculcate bad invt. habits...

Very good initiatives and I think in this knowledge industry it is true to provide information rather than just selling and pushing one product. As an IFA what I think our expectation from AMC person is information inputs in which ICICI Pru is one of the front runner. I have used the ASK for More Kit and thank IiCICi Pru AMC for creating such simple but powerful kit.
The Live Like Exactly AV (ASk for More) is fantastic and investors should be educated on it that they shold think beyond an SIP of a mere 1000 Rs. which can never help them create wealth. Good work by the IPru Team.
Totally true, its very good initiative from the AMC side and need based selling should be promoted not only by other AMCs but by distributors or IFAs as well. Even I would like to comment that Investors'awareness is also very important and we should take initiative for enhancing their knowledge. Besides the slug period of market, many mis-selling has had happened (categorically here I am meant conveying wrong picture abt ULIP by few agents) even in market like Raipur, as a result people feel ok with even lesser return and they are ok by allocating all their money in a very traditional, unattractive product. (Note: here I am not against any traditional product; albeit asset-allocation is necessary based on their goal is very important). When we respect people's hard earned money, atleast one day even new investors would realize that we says for their benefits. Mis-selling should be stopped just to complete targets as it raise question of credibility on other advisers. Happy Advising!

A true spirit from ICICI Pru AMC to take initiative for need based advisory and that too thru a Financial Planner. They shud further take this initiative to add this in the media as advertisement for need based selling.
