Better to worse: Regarding CAMS service. i have been seeing their service for quite long. It has literally moved from better to worst. address not properly updated, email id typing error. Because of wrong data entry all my MF in various funds are going for rounds and rounds of correction. very worst service and not customer friendly. i have shared this feedback to all the AMC also

These services are there but needs improvement.Like individual wrapping, family wrapping you are providing only with escan mode,Why? Secondly these operation needs some training to the distributors.

WISE--- INCLUDING one or more/ uniform or different JOINT HOLDERs-- DIFFERENT BANK A/C DETAILS -- AND different other details --- having different folios ... This can be provided as in all cases, 1st holder is owner and all redemption payments are given to 1st holder only.... This statement is most useful and saves all back office work & costs...

Pats - excellent site, hardly lets you down, finnet, great, keep it up! Needs Improvement - should enable statement generation for a selected fund in a folio having say 5 funds[karvy provides that]. Otherwise we land with up 30 page statement having only 5 active pages - CAS is a great initiative. similar consolidated report required for portfolio valuation report across all RTAs. Currently only CAMS funds are covered in this report. - Also need facility to generate capital gains report in finnet instead of mailback

You have written about importance of filling up email id and phone numbers in folios, but data punching errors which lead to incorrect data entries are indeed very common. We urge and request your staff to be more diligent to distributors problems . In recent past it took weeks and scores of follow ups to get genuine issues resolved. Further we all would appreciate if Family WRAP ( Consolidated account statements) for entire family can be created at distributors end.Why is this service being provided with a condition that distributors have to scan and punch the applications at their end to avail this services ?

Dear Mr.N K Prasad, if you are any of your staff have been going the discussion topics on wealthforum, you would have realized that the poor quality of service by CAMS especially in ARN renewal is causing great hardship for the distributors. In some cases it seems that the inordinate delay in ARN renewal is causing distributors to lose their hard earned commissions. Have you ever checked the flaws in the processing of ARN renewal applications? Have you got any internal bench mark within which you expect your staff to complete the ARN renewal process once all the relevant documents are received? If the ARN renewal date of a distributor is quite close, why dont you consider the date of application for ARN renewal, if all the required documents are submitted?

CAMS service is very poor. I had not logged in for 3 days when my password was due to expire. After that I have not been able to login. I had written a mail to helpdesk of cams, from where i got a response to contact at an email id with the details. I have done it and a month has passed without any response. If anyone can guide me what to do so that I can service my clients better

I had registered for FinNet but got very poor service from CAMS, I was not even able to use it even once. On top of it my funds net service was also affected. IFAs had invested a lot not only in subscribing to the service but also on the IT infrastructure that was required for it. Only to learn that CAMS has abandoned the venture. CAMS funds net service has not changed over several years now. To give an example, - while investors can get a consolidated statement of their holdings across AMCs distributors cannot get the same for their clients from fundsnet. CAMS handles 17 AMCs but has only two or at times three persons behind the front counter to receive applications, one can imagine the rush and the confusion that exist before the cut off time. So much for CAMS service. Can we really rely on CAMS. Of course being IFAs we have no where to go.
