SWP offers certain or fixed amount (subject to tax) which retirees receive, specially for monthly life style cost. As an advisor, I encourage building retirement corpus for investors so that they can withdraw monthly a fixed amount for their cost of living and medical needs. However SWAP (systematic withdrawal of appreciation) amount is not fixed amount or certain.
