ABSL AMC has launched a wonderful new initiative called Legacy Leap, which prepares sons and daughters of senior MFDs who have decided to join the family business, to take their businesses to the next level.
A four day intensive training program helps them not only gain valuable entrepreneurship and leadership skills, but also introduces them to today’s cutting edge tools and techniques in digital engagement and client acquisition, technology absorption to boost operations efficiency and other such critical inputs to help them get their firms future ready.
Feedback from the first batch of 28 participants (conducted in Aug 2023) has been very positive. Next batch is scheduled for Oct 2023 and will incorporate some of the learnings and suggestions from the first batch to make it even better.
Those interested should get in touch with their ABSL AMC RMs to seek nomination into future batches. Nominations are not linked to volume of business done.
In future, this program will also be opened up to young new MFDs who are equally interested in making their firms future ready.

It’s a pleasure to listen to Manish and lots to learn from him in person too. Most of us senior MFDs are going to face this challenge. Legacy Leap is indeed a great thought plan and the nextgen will learn better from an established AMC with a professional edge. The nextgen learning the entrepreneurial plan is indeed the catch. The modules mentioned in this talk & the curriculum mentioned should definitely be helpful. Need to speak to my son on this. Vijay’s questions based on his vast experience are always oriented to be of help to us and we get clarified on all fronts. This programme as discussed is not one more item in the bucket list. It’s a much needed programme.
